What does a Bravo Wellness health screening include?
A screening includes checking blood pressure, height, weight, waist and hip measurements, and a full venipuncture blood draw. The blood is sent to a lab that tests cholesterol and nicotine levels, and other preventative categories such as glucose, creatinine, and thyroid levels.
When are health screenings performed?
We perform health screenings at least once a year. These typically coincide with your company’s annual benefits enrollment period.
Where are health screenings performed?
Screenings are held at the workplace and/or scheduled conveniently at the participant’s home.
What if participants can't make the screenings?
With our thorough approach, Bravo ensures screenings are completed by all of your participants, including those who may have been absent during screening days and new hires covered after the screening occurs.
Who performs the screenings?
We arrange the screenings to be performed by qualified health professionals contracted by Bravo Wellness or a vendor of your choice.
How do the screening’s results help a company plan its wellness program?
Results from Bravo Wellness health screenings help participants embrace your wellness program and the wellness tools provided. We provide solutions that tie participation and results to real rewards like deductible and co-pay differentials or premium contribution variables.
If the results fall within predetermined ranges, participants earn wellness points that are used toward managing their healthcare costs. However, if a participant is unable to medically meet your goals, Bravo Wellness will manage the participant’s appeal and work with their healthcare provider on an alternative goal.
How does Bravo ensure accurate scoring of a screening’s results?
By using Bravo’s proprietary software, we can score every element of a screening to help guide your participants and encourage their participation.
For instance, a participant can pass/fail a BMI score, but body fat percentage and waist circumference will automatically be considered to make sure that no one fails due to muscle mass. We can vary rewards based on ranges of results or progress, and convert screening results into a simple participant results letter and payroll file.
