27 Jan Three Questions to Evaluate Your Wellness Program Design
Bravo’s Regional Sales Director, John Patrick, recently published an article entitled, Three Questions to Evaluate Your Wellness Program Design. He touches on observations made in a recently published study by the Employee Benefit Research Institute and the corresponding questions that surfaced.
“A recent study published by the Employee Benefit Research Institute (ebri.org) makes two important observations about wellness program incentives.
Young, healthy employees tend to participate in wellness programs for small incentives.
Older, less healthy employees require more substantial financial incentives to participate in wellness programs…but the investment is worth it.
These two observations raise three important questions for anyone involved in workplace wellness. First, does your wellness program itself encourage participation? Second, does your wellness program elicit participation from the right people? Third, does your wellness program and incentive strategy make sense? I’ll address each of these questions in three separate posts.”
