14 May WELLNESS PLANS MAY HELP REDUCE CADILLAC TAX IMPACT

According to a survey of 723 employers conducted by Mercer, employers are looking to wellness programs as a way to help relieve the expected burden of the ACA’s Cadillac Tax. Mandated for rollout in 2018, this tax applies to health plans that cost more than $10,200 for individuals and $27,500 for families.

While 35% of employers have already taken action to add or improve these supplemental programs, 47% say they are considering implementing such plans. It’s never to early to start planning for the future. Are you ready?
