13 Nov Bravo Exec Co-Author on Biometric Health Screening for Employees Statement

Hero Study Supports Bravo’s Best Practices

A joint consensus statement was prepared by a committee from the Health Enhancement Research Organization (HERO), the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM), and the Care Continuum Alliance (CCA) on the recommendations for using biometric health screenings in workplace wellness. Bravo was honored to have its own president and HERO member, Dave Campbell, as a contributing author of this paper.

Designed to provide information and guidance for a successful screening program in tandem with an overall employee health management approach, the committee organized health screening “best practices” into four sections: Goals and Overarching Considerations, Methods and Oversight, Operations and Delivery, and Engagement and Evaluation.

The joint statement confirms for Bravo that the practices we’ve been using since we launched in 2008, are the precise processes they recommend. From proper planning and privacy with stations, to data processing and reporting, Bravo partners with qualified vendors to ensure everything is done in the most efficient and effective manner possible. Addressing each of our client’s needs individually, together with our vendors, we take the guess work out of implementing a successful screening event and take the burden off the client.

With adequate planning time, staffing, and policies in place, screenings can add value to an existing health management program.
