The Challenge

With medical expenses growing by 8-10% each year, Graco needed to control costs while maintaining its leadership position in a competitive market.

The Solution

Graco partnered with Bravo in 2009 with biometric goals alongside continuous awards for activity completion and health education. Each year, Bravo, Graco and their broker, Mercer, review the health of the population to evolve the program to meet their goals.

The Results

  • Significant risk migration in body mass index, blood pressure, and LDL cholesterol.
  • Lower medical and pharmacy claims costs.
  • The Bravo program pays for itself and additional employee health benefits, including an on-site nutritionist and an annual wellness recognition award.
